Templeton Play Park had some play equipment for children for many years, but it was improved in 2014 to include more modern equipment including a swing seat, 20 metre runway, a wooden play boat and climbing frame, and toddler rockers. This was part funded by the Welsh Government, and was done as a partnership between Tempeton Community Association and Templeton Community Council. The Play Park is enclosed by a fence and so is great for letting younger children play in with supervision. There are also picnic benches provided within the area, and a car park adjacent to it.
